My version of a romance novel's cover from 1961 in oils

g'day. If you've clicked on the 'me' then you are here to find out about me as a buyer or seller. I've been doing more selling that buying lately, and that's been going well. I've learned quite a bit about selling through experience, and I would say it's not always easy. But I reckon if people just did 'the right thing' and did it in a timely way, things would go smoothly. One problem I've noticed is the times for parcels to get from Tasmania, where I live, to the mainland. It concerns me that buyers would criticise this seller for 'late' arrival of items, when I have faithfully posted within two working days of receiving payment from buyers -rather than being patient with Australia post's (lack of speedy) delivery times. Please keep this in mind when buying from me. I endeavour to look after my buyers...integrity FIRST! Contact me anytime, I'm happy to communicate.
About me? Well, I'm an Aussie book collector/reader/reviewer in Tasmania. I like books on all sorts of subjects, including biographies, and especially love art books and my favourites include the Wycliffe novels of W.J. Burley and June Thompson's DCI Finch.
I like to collect unusual books, especially for their cover art. I also paint in oils, mainly equine art but I paint most other subjects.
I've also taken up writing fiction and consequently I'm doing more of that these days than painting. I finished a novel this year (09) and currently working on proofing its final draft.
