CARE AND TREATMENT OF BAMBOO FENCING

General Information about our Bamboo Products

• The bamboo panels come in a black bamboo grown naturally in the jungles of western Java
• The panels also come in a natural yellow
• The bamboo is between 5cm and 7cms diameter
• The bamboo after being cleaned of knodes and stems is washed and kiln dried at 50degrees for 8 days which lowers the water retention to 8%. This will stop the bamboo twisting and splitting.
• They are attached with 8 gauge black hardened steel screws to a medium density hardwood rail of which there is 3 in every panel.
• This is followed by a binding of double strand black twine for an aesthetic finish and to hide the screw heads.
• The panels are treated to prevent borer infestation and to minimise the risk of a fungal attack.
• The product is fumigated to meet AQIS standards prior to entering Australia.
