I grew up on the Bellarine Peninsula but went to Melbourne for work reasons. I married someone from Melbourne and ended up living there for 35 years.
I am now back in Geelong with my husband and two burmese cats. My two adult sons have also moved to Geelong and I have two delightful granddaughters whom I love to spend time with.
I am also a member of the Geelong Football Club -the 2007 premiers - 'The Mighty Cats'.
As part of my sea change I lived my dream which was to own a bookshop. Mine was a gorgeous, character-filled one in the fishing village of Queenscliff; unfortunately it was closed down for economic reasons. I am selling the remainder of my stock of books on ebay.
My ebay store has new, secondhand and antiquarian books and occasionally the odd piece of miscellany.
I have quite a passion for browsing op shops, garage sales, fetes etc.
I like to walk to Eastern Beach on a nice evening and I like shopping and dining in the cosmopolitan Pakington Street Geelong West, which is within walking distance from where I live.
