The Broome 6 Gallery exhibits art from the Kimberley region and specialises in art of the Wandjina tradition from the Mowanjum community.

My name is Chris Maher, I am the managing director of the Broome 6 Gallery. I have lived in Broome, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, since 1992, with my wife Robyn. We have both travelled widely through the region. I maintain a personal connection with all of the artists who's work I sell, many of the artists I have known for some time. Robyn and I have a large private collection of art and we personally own at least one work from each of the artists I sell.

Robyn and I are both passionate about the Kimberley region, its people, cultrue and art. Robyn works for Australia's Northwest Tourism in destination marketing, while I run the the Broome 6 Gallery and Art House Framing and Art Supplies.

The Kimberley is a region that is rich in Indigenous cultural heritage and art. The gallery specialises in Wandjina art, but also represents non Indigenous artists. We sell some items on ebay to assist artists to maintain an income throughout the year.
