CoreComputers International is a registered Australian business. We strive to give you the best deals on computer equipment and electronics. We specialize in servers, network gear and other high performance equipment but offer a full range of IT products. Please email for a competitive quote if you cannot find what you are looking for.

We pride ourselves with excellent customer service. Generally customers can expect to get an email answered within 24 hours, often much quicker. We provide detailed product information as well as quality pictures. Most items are offered including warranty. Once payment has been made, we make an effort to get your parcel dispatched quickly. We provide after sales support in case of technical difficulties. We offer product returns if you change your mind.

 Terms & Conditions

Please make sure you read the complete item description before bidding - we will attempt to answer all questions made via email within 24 hours (Monday - Saturday). It is your responsibility to determine compatibility and suitability based on the information provided - it is definitely too late to ask questions in this regard once you have purchased the product! eBay users without or with excessively negative feedback - please email before bidding! We reserve the right to cancel bids.

Do not bid in case you don't intend to or cannot pay for it!!!

CoreComputers does not allow the use of 'Bid Sniping' programs and services as we believe all bidders deserve a fair go. If there is evidence that such a program or service was used, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and re-list the item!

By bidding or purchasing, you agree to the terms and conditions defined in this and the following sections. After auction end, we will contact the winning bidder to organise payment and delivery. Payment must be received within 5 days after auction end. If no payment is received, we will bring the winning bidder to eBay's attention and leave negative feedback. Do not bid in case you don't intend to or cannot pay for it!!!

We charge a $20 cancellation fee if you decide not to go ahead with the purchase before it has been shipped. A delivery charge is not applicable in this case. This cancellation charge offsets our processing cost and some eBay fees which are not refundable.

 Payment

Once the auction ends, you have a maximum of five days to finalize payment. Currently we offer following payment options:

Australian Customers
  • Electronic Deposit (preferred)
    Electronic deposit is our preferred payment option for all Australian customers. It works fast and doesn't incur any extra cost for either side.
  • Australian Money Order
    A money order can be purchased at Australia Post and can be claimed once it has arrived via letter.
  • Bank / Personal Cheque
    A cheque takes several days to clear once it has arrived via letter. Do not use cheque's if you need the item urgently.

International Customers
  • Paypal (available at our discretion)
    Paypal is our preferred payment option for all international customers. Payments must be made in Australian Dollar. Please check Paypal.com for more information. We reserve the right to refuse Paypal payments from certain countries or customers.
  • Wire Transfer
    Payments must be made in Australian Dollar and incur a AU$20 charge to cover bank fees. Bank details for international wire transfer are available on request.

All items are sent once payment has cleared. Total amount depends on shipment destination and service, insurance and payment type. Please inquire before bidding if anything is unclear.

 Packaging & Shipment

All items are shipped from Sydney via Australia Post or courier. To prevent transport damage, everything is professionally packed in bubble wrap, peanuts or foam and sent in sturdy boxes. We re-use packaging material where possible to save cost and help the environment. Please understand that most packaging material is not free - we have to account for this when quoting delivery charges. Please see the auction pages for delivery options - extra charges may apply for customers in Western Australia, Tasmania or the Northern Territories. Please inquire before bidding if you are unsure.

Due to security concerns, we cannot permit personal pickup of items from our warehouse.

International bidders welcome
Please check the very bottom of the auction page for postage options or inquire via email. Australia Post offers courier, airmail and sea freight options at competitive rates.

The delivery charge covers packaging material, the actual transport cost, insurance and labour. All items over AUD $60 value will be insured. Delivery of goods is our responsibility, transport damage or loss our risk - because of this you cannot opt out of the insurance to reduce the delivery charge. Express Post is available on request - please note that all Express shipments are at your risk due to the fact that we cannot insure Express Post parcels.


Damaged Parcels
If a parcel arrives damaged in any way, please get in contact with us immediately. Please document the damage by taking a photo before opening the parcel and ideally get a statement in writing from the carrier confirming the fact that the parcel was damaged during transport. This is in your own interest when making a claim with the carrier. All damage claims must be initiated by the addressee with the carrier - we will gladly assist you with it.

Lost Parcels
If your parcel fails to turn up after a reasonable amount of time (delivery time estimates are given once the parcel was dispatched), please get in contact with us. We will then lodge an investigation with the carrier. In most cases, parcels are simply delayed. If the investigation turns out that the parcel was indeed lost, you will receive a full refund.

Please keep in mind that delivery to rural areas usually takes longer. International delivery via sea freight can take very long; customs inspections in your country may also add delay. Generally many parcels are delayed over the Christmas period.

Customs
Parcels may be inspected by customs once they arrive at the destination country. Whether a parcel will be inspected or not (and possibly incur import taxes) is entirely out of our control. Please check the customs web page of your country to determine if import taxes apply. Each parcel that leaves Australia has a customs label on it showing the actual item value. Please check our Customs Declarations policy.

 Warranty

CoreComputers sells new as well as used items. All items sold are in working condition unless we state 'as is' or 'untested' in the item description. We clearly state in every auction whether we provide a warranty on the item. All warranties start with the auction end date.

New Item Warranty
All new items come with at least 12 months of warranty. Some products have extended manufacturer warranties. If there is a problem with the item during this period unrelated to transport damage, please contact us and describe the exact fault. We will attempt to troubleshoot the problem but if this fails, the item will need to be returned via Post for testing.

Used Item Warranty
Most used items are covered by our DOA (not dead on arrival) warranty. Some items are covered longer by CoreComputers. Either way, the voluntary warranty period is clearly stated on the item page. The DOA warranty covers all items that arrive non-working while there is no visible transport damage. All Australian customers are required to make a DOA claim no later than 8 days after auction end if the item arrives faulty. International customers have the quoted transport period plus 10 days to make the claim if the item arrives faulty. We will attempt to troubleshoot the problem but if this fails, the item will need to be returned via Post for testing.

Warranty Returns
If your product is covered by a warranty and you have made the claim before the end of the warranty period, you need to return the item at your cost together with a copy of the original invoice. Please ensure that the item is packed appropriately (anti static bag, bubble wrap, etc) and that the parcel insured if necessary. We will either test the item in house or return it to the supplier. In case of a item malfunction, a replacement will be sent at our cost or a refund is made if no replacement is available. A $45 testing fee and return postage to the customer will be charged if the returned item is found working.

Warranty Exclusions
Please understand that we cannot guarantee compatibility with your system. The warranty furthermore excludes damage caused by improper use (eg overclocking), modification of the hardware, accident and acts of god.

 Returns

CoreComputers accepts product returns, no questions asked!

  • 10% restocking fee applies for new, unopened, shrink-wrapped products which are returned within 10 days of purchase counting from the moment of buying / winning.
  • 20% restocking fee applies for opened products, products sold used, unused, as new, liquidation stock or all new products returned within 20 days after purchase.
No returns are accepted after this 20 day period. Return only in working condition including all accessories without any signs of use. Returns must be safely packed and sent via Registered Post at the buyers expense. Delivery charges are generally not refundable.
