We are buyers and sellers on ebay.
When purchasing from us as a buyer you can be sure that all items are described to the best of our knowledge.
We only charge postage at cost(australia post rates) this may include the cost of a Postpak Box. There is no handling charge. We believe this is not appropriate and just another way for some sellers to make more money. Ourselves as buyers do not purchase from sellers who profit from so called" handling"charges.
Please remember that we offer registered post on all items we sell and if you choose not to use this option it is not our problem if the item is lost or damaged once they have been posted.
Unfortunately there is a seller in the Southern Suburbs of Perth who believes they can charge outrageous postage costs to buyers in Perth as of 16/12/07 Australia Post charges $6.95 for a parcel in Perth up to 20kg. (remember to allow a few dollars if they are buying a new mailing box) I came across this seller who was asking $25 for postage even though we were in the $6.95 zone, the sellers reason for this was "to make it fair to all bidders" what a joke, the seller was selective about the questions posted on the listing and would not post my question regarding the actual postage cost. Even though my question stated this would show them to be a honest seller. Which clearly they aren't. It is sellers like this who give the rest of us a bad name.
The seller doesn't allow local pick up due to work committments etc.. Must be a hard life working 24/7. This is another excuse to take your money as a buyer so they can profit of the postage cost. Thats right this seller would charge you the $25 postage if you were in the next suburb.
