About Drinking Gear |
Drinking Gear was founded in 1990 by Kimberly Peters who established a niche retail outlet for all sorts of bar supplies and drinking clothing including Victoria Bitter, Jim Beam Jack Daniels and Bundaberg Rum to name a few. During the early years Kimberley spent all of her weekends at markets all over Sydney and NSW, before settling on two stalls at the; at that stage growing Parklea markets.
With many changes to retailing and growing popularity on online shopping Kimberley started to move her operation online. In late 2005 she embarked on another venture and decided to move on from Drinking Gear. It was at this stage that I joined her and we shifted the total Drinking Gear store online.
Using the same philosophy that Kimberley had used for years, of always sourcing new products at good pricing and look after the customers extremely well we were able to make a very successful transition to only online retailing.
In June 2006 Kimberley left the business and I am continuing the institution that she has started.
We now have stores on eBay as well as our own web store www.drinkinggeardirect.com.au
