I thought it was time to tell you a little about myself!

My name is Lisa; I am married to John, an extremely supportive, loving & tolerant person. We have 2 daughters, aged 21, 19 & a 9 year old son.

I am a nurse by profession, but I have always been a crafty person, trying my hand at many projects. I have been retailing my crafts for 17 years now.

I love collecting; I have many collections from antiques, to animal teapots and salt & pepper shakers.

5 years ago, I opened a craft supplies & giftware retail shop. As we hold classes, I started new crafts such as jewellery making, scrapbooking & folk art. I operate from these shop premises, and with eBay I found this a wonderful way to expand my retail store to reach customers both interstate and overseas.

I also love buying bargains – I am then able to pass these savings onto my customers.

I am always on the look out for new and interesting lines to list. I am always adding new items to my shop as well as keeping the popular items listed. Shabby Chic style, French Provincial, country style, giftware, fairies, flowers, toiletries, crafts, beading & so many more items are regularly listed, I try to find any special items you may be looking for, so please email lisa@petalsandpaint.com.au  any queries on items you are after, as I have soooo many goodies in my retail shop, I just may have what you are wanting!

I understand some people are hesitant when buying on the internet. As a registered business, I answer to The Victorian Office of Fair Trading, so you can be comfortable knowing that I am describing accurately and that you will receive your item.

I started selling on EBay in February 2006 under my husband’s user name horntank ~ (don’t ask)! It is so exciting to wake up in the morning & find I have had sales from the eBay store!

My computer is on & next to me at the shop all day, & follows me home to the kitchen table at night, so you can be sure that I will respond to any emails promptly! I am committed to providing my customers service excellence.

Also remember that when postage is combined for multiple items it is often much cheaper & I am happy to combine your goodies into one package.

Our postage includes a packaging fee which is kept as low as possible usually around AU$1.50. This covers packaging materials to ensure our products are well packaged & arrive safely. Handling also takes into account checking stock, preparing beading kits, bookmarks, etc which involves counting, sorting & packaging, all of which are time consuming.

I will always send a payment received email notification and a postage notification email respectively. That way you, my valued customer is always kept informed.

I post using Australia Post both nationally & internationally. Most items are packed the same day they sell. That way once payment comes through we can dispatch them usually within 24 hours of cleared payment. It is also appreciated if you can send an email if you are still bidding/purchasing other items, this will save John extra work repacking.
