We started as lost travellers working in a caravan park.  When alas, we decided to buy some kevlar and set up a stall at market.  Well we rocked up to a six table market where the fashionable thing to sell was recovered junk from the sea.  (Damn Exmouth)  Along our travels we learnt more and found ourselves in sunny Broome busy at the markets and twirling most nights on Cable beach after the camels had left and the sun was down. 

From Broome we were invited to teach aboriginal children how to firetwirl in a remote community.  Photos of this experience can be seen at http://jigalong.firetwirl.com.au Down the coast we came with plans of sharing more fire with everyone.  So to the internet we took our equipment with the help of EBAY and http://www.firetwirl.com.au

Our real drive is to make fire toys accessable to everyone.  As we could see in our travels that the people that want to play generally can't afford the equipment available.  Even worse for us to witness are the people that have bought equipment that is cheap or imported that falls apart or is dangerous.  i.e. thailand poi are made out of asbestos, not kevlar.  So we strive to make the best equipment we can for the best price.  We put all of our prototypes through some hardcore punishment before we are prepared to release them as a toy.
