For orders over $100 insurance is $2.70 plus $1.50 for
every additional $100 or part thereof
Insurance for overseas parcels starts at $8.00 for orders

shipped from our premises properly packed

insurance against loss as an option. We are not liable

= WARRANTY TERMS =
WARRANTY PERIOD:
The warranty starts when the order for the item
is placed. It expires at the following time interval, according to the type of
item purchased:
- Refurbished Items: 90 days RTB* Warranty
- Brand New Items : 1 Year RTB* Warranty
unless stated otherwise (Some items carry 2,3,5,10 or lifetime warranty. See
item listing for details)

Return the items To Base at their expense (RTB).
IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS:
WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS:
The warranty ONLY COVERS Hardware
defects or malfunction, except for:
-
Defects or damages resulting from the use of
the product in other than normal and customary manner.
-
Defects or damages from abnormal use, abnormal
conditions, improper storage, unauthorized repair, misuse, neglect,
alteration, improper installation, and other acts which are not the fault of
Express PC Parts like blown fuses, electrical malfunctions, power surges,
spills of liquids.
Returned goods that arrive damaged in
transit due to improper packing. Items must be returned using the same or
similar packing materials that were used to ship them.
The warranty DOES NOT cover
Software related problems, including:

Software installation and configuration,
including drivers
-
Hard disks not formatted,
-
Virus, Spyware, or Malware
-
Passwords, BIOS Passwords
The warranty DOES NOT cover
Consumables like Toner cartridges, Ink, etc.
CLAIM PROCESS
To make a claim, the customer must:
-
Contact us by e-mail before the warranty
expires. An Invoice number must be supplied.
-
Wait for Instructions. In some cases we will
reply with questions about the problem, and we will request some tests to be
performed on the items to determine the nature of the fault.
-
If authorized to return the item, the customer
must carefully pack the item including a copy of the invoice using the same or
similar packaging materials that were used to ship the item.
Without the invoice, no warranty claims will be
processed.
-
Once the item is received, it will be inspected
and tested if necessary. This can take up to 10 business days (usually 5).
-
If the item was sold as "refurbished" and it is found to be faulty a replacement or a refund will be sent.
-
If the item is a "brand new" and found to be
faulty, it will be sent to the manufacturer. Once an answer is obtained from
the manufacturer, a replacement or refund will be provided.
-
If the item is found to be working a 10%
restocking fee will be charged.
-
Note: Once a returned item is received, it can
take up to 10 business days (usually 5) until we provide a refund or
replacement.
