Hi there,
As a long time eBayer, I would love to educate others on the following things;
That Australia Post are a bunch of crooks. I have had packages come from the UK blatently tampered with and ripped open and the item stolen from it. Many times I've head packages not show up, more so at my last home address. Anything worth more than $50 that other people would deem valuble i have sent registered. And ALWAYS mark in eBay when you sent it. It's good to know, especially when consulting Australia Post.
That express is generally a bad option. All express does is make things come faster. I have had expensive things never show up with registered and Australia Post claim they delivered it.
That omissions in a listing are an offence. Saying that I didn't know a gun was loaded before pointing it at someone and pulling the trigger isn't a defence to manslaughter. As the act of omitting something of your listing, is to omitting to check the gun for bullets in the chambers. Particually omitting that you are mailing the item from a smoking or pet home is an offence.
That customs find it necessary to search packages of Barbie related items.
That I report listings of fake designer items.
That I really like sellers who leave feedback within a reasonable time of recieving it. And I don't buy from people who can't be bothered answering their messages. I have left negative comments in feedback about poor communication, and won't buy from someone who doesn't answer an innoculous question. I don't think anyone in their right mind would.
Thanks for reading.
