Hello Fellow eBayers, my member ID “midinahusa” stands for Michigan (mi); I live in Milford, Michigan where the GM Proving Grounds are located.   The (dinah) part, I was named after Dinah Shore for those who are  not old enough to remember, she was popular during and after WW II and  the  (usa) is from Dinah's closing song on her TV show sponsored by GM “See The USA In Your Chevrolet”.  In the 1970s she hosted one of the first daytime talk shows and of all things married Burt Reynolds.

I have collected antiques for over forty-five years and my parents and my husband’s parents all lived well into their 90’s and were collectors plus never threw anything away after living through the Great Depression.  So I am downsizing by selling on eBay.  I have collected many different things over the years and have belonged to an antique preservation and restoration group for over ten years.  I have also taken Antique Weekly for many-many years. 

I have researched and given programs for my antique group on:  Blue Willow, Flower Frogs, Ohio Pottery, Ball Canning Jars, and Cookie Cutters.  I also have attended programs on buttons, silhouettes, Bakelite, baskets too many to mention plus taken tours of Frank Lloyd Wright homes in Madison, WI, Oak Park, IL, Scottsdale, AZ, & Sears Kit Homes in Downers Grove, IL., plus many  other historical sites over the years.

My travels have included an antique /tea tour of Southern England in 2001 and a trip to France in 2007.  I have traveled in just about all the US States.  I grew up in Southern Indiana and have lived in Ohio, Georgia and Michigan.  I have two children and four grandchildren and last but not least two cats, Max & Molly (M& M).  My husband of forty-five years helps me with eBay by taking pictures and mailing.

I try to research and describe my listings to the best of my knowledge.  I am not an expert in any one area of antiques so please let me know if I have erred in anyway.  I want all my buyers to be completely happy.  Regards, Dinah
