Moment by Moment
Is how you live you life when you have a premature baby.
Born out of Experience
This business was born the moment I had Airlie Fae.
I had my little girl at 27+5 gestation this making her 12weeks and 2days early. I had two very severe cases of Pre Eclampsia and HELLP Syndrome HELLP stands for H (haemolysis - red blood cell damage); EL (elevated liver enzymes - indicating liver damage); and LP (low platelets in the blood leading to a bleeding tendency). Airlie was born 861gms or 1lb 14ozs, 35.5cm long and a head circumference of 25.3cm she look the same size as a Mount Franklin water bottle. Airlie was in hospital for 8weeks.

It was a huge struggle to find her clothing and nappies to wear, dummies to suck and books for me to read. I don know how many times I was told by sales assistants t not worth our while stocking that sort of stuffwhile I stood in front of them with my tiny baby girl. I was heart broken and then the idea started to grow. It has taken some time and courage to build this business but I do it with pure joy and passion. To help others is my main aim, yes I do want it to be a profitable business but most of all I want to make all the Mums and Dads smile. If you know someone who has had a premature baby please direct them to this site or phone me on 0408689330 and I will help in anyway possible.

The two of these conditions came close to taking my life and my daughters. We are the lucky ones; there are ladies out there in Australia and all over the world who are loosing their children and their own lives to these diseases everyday. Please tell your mother, sister, grandmother, cousin, girlfriend, wife, aunts and even all the men in your life to please read about this NOW.
Please support AAPEC if you can. We are trying to grow awareness and educate. We are trying to raise money for a community service announcement to be aired on TV and maybe radio to. You can become a member for only $20 a year or you can support us by supporting our fundraising efforts either way we will appreciate what ever you choose to do. If you can not support us financially please just tell someone about PE and HELLP with statistics saying that 1 in 10 pregnancies will be touched by some form of PE we need to educate now.
