About Me - Rachael Zelensky

Hi and welcome to my Me Page, thanks for taking the time to stop by! My name is Rachael and I am a freelance artist. I am also a wife, and a mother to two beautiful children, 3 1/2 yrs and 1 yr, so life can be pretty HECTIC! I have been painting and drawing since I could hold a pencil and for me it is my relaxation! I am a vibrant, happy person and I think this reflects in my art, through choice of colour and style. I have been selling my art for the past 15 years, though Ebay is only a new venture. It gives me the chance to stay home with my children whilst generating a bit of income. I have sold many peices both within Australia and Internationally. I have been commissioned to paint several peices for retail stores and have also had my work sold in Interiors Design stores. I have just completed 16 works for a resort on the Gold Coast as well as 13 peices for a medical centre in Brisbane.

My work is diverse in subject and I happily explore new ideas often, developing and learning new skills and techniques along the way. Currently on Ebay a have a range of paintings listed. Gorgeous bright florals which adorn the walls in my home. I am a freak for Blue and White china, so there are many painting in these styles listed, sometimes a teacup stack or ginger jar too! And of course my childrens paintings - these at the moment are my favourite to do! Inspired by my own children and the things that make their eyes light up! Their walls are adorned with my paintings - All I need is a bedspread or a picture in a book for inspiration and a beautiful painting evolves! I happily paint on commission, please send me your ideas!

I prefer paypal, though I happily accept payment by bank deposit, personal cheque or money order. (Please not, all funds must CLEAR into my account before items will be posted). I happily offer a quote for postage, insurance is offered if you require it. Most items can be sent through Australia Post, though larger items may require courier. International buyers - I prefer Paypal, cheques can take weeks to clear and there is an additional clearance fee - Too much hassle! I happily offer a POSTAGE DISCOUNT for repeat customers or multiple purchases!
