About Madame Korner-The history behind the name

  Madame Johanna Korner arrived in Australia in the early 1950's. She came from a formal background, where polish and discipline were expected. Inspired by her Aunt, a pioneer in the beauty field, Johanna first studied in Paris and Berlin before opening successful salons throughout Europe.

  Urged by her son George, a cosmetic chemist, the family moved to Australia. Confident in her theories and practises, the family transferred operations from Paris to the centre of Sydney.

  At the time beauty therapy was in its infancy. Madame Korner loved the landscape and lifestyle but was shocked by the state of people's skin.

  Madame Korner had arrived, establishing a name that would influence Beauty Therapy in this country forever.

  Madame Korner founded the first beauty therapy training school in Australia.

  Madame Korner Classic Skin Care is a specific range of skin care products created by cosmetic chemist George Korner and suited to Australian conditions. As a leading beauty therapist, George realised early in his career that clients felt most confident when using the same products for home care as they had experienced in salon treatments. The good results achieved at home, prolonging the positive experience and results.

  Taking the best of European cosmetic skills, combining them with up-to-date knowledge, adding experience and an acute awareness of what Australians needed in skin care, George created the Madame Korner Classic Skin Care Range.

About Kylie

  I am a beauty therapist with 15 years experience. I have used the Madame Korner Classic Skin Care range personally for the 15 years I have been in the industry. I owned a small beauty salon called "Kylie's Beauty Shoppe" in the northern suburbs of Perth for 4 years. I used the products on my clients for facial treatments, and sold and recommended the products. My personal favourites of the Madame Korner Classic Skin Care range are Pink Almond Cleanser, Skin Balancer, Body Smoother, Collagen Concentrate, Plant Extract Night Repair, Primrose Mask, Macadamia Mask, Natural Blue Mask and Parsley Pack. I also love K lotion but don't use it personally but my 15 year old daughter does and it has cleared her skin brilliantly.
