TN Nurse and Teacher (ex farm boy) eclectic collectors
A registered nurse (formerly from Mississippi) and an Illinois farm boy turned teacher of French and English, collect a strange mixture of farm toys and Steiff animals and teddies. Throw in a few collectable dolls--especially Lee Middleton and a few vintage model cars and early American primitive furniture, and our house usually elicits favorable responses from visitors who enjoy finding a warm home with interesting "stuff" all around. We are buyers, not sellers--but who knows? With all of the stuff we are buying, we may have to start selling to make room in the house!

Our three granddaughters have already benefitted from the "collecting bug"--and the oldest is already selecting "used" toys from the Steiff and handpuppet pages instead of "new" stuff that just anyone can buy.
