My journey to ebay started with a search for a book, in a box (one of many) in my garage. What I found was a wealth of written wisdom literally being consumed by bugs.
See, I am a hoarder of books. I still have the disney books santa brought me in 1965 and I have countless business, sales and personal improvement books accumulated over 30 years. But I couldn't bear to see my treasures being destroyed. Solution - throw out the damaged books (only half a box thank goodness) and sell the good stuff on ebay. While I still think of these books as my personal treasures, I'd rather someone else enjoyed and profited by them than see them destroyed.

One of the unexpected benefits I've found from selling my old treasures, is the joy and excitement they bring to buyers. This feedback is not something you often get in a job, or most other businesses. This inspired me to create a permanent ebay business, sourcing great pre-loved books and making them available to ebay buyers
One of my loves is cooking and sharing the experience of creating a great meal for my family and friends. To this end I am currently sourcing quality cook books that the average ordinary person can use to create extraodinary meals. I will also be creating a blog where buyers can share their favourite recipies or cooking disasters. More on that soon so watch this space.
Oh yes. I never did find the book I was originally looking for. But I know its here somewhere.
