General

Bidding means you agree with the above payment and shipping terms and are satisfied with the item description. Please email BEFORE bidding if you have any questions about the item or terms,- as all sales are final.

Refunds will only be given if we agree we have made a mistake in the listing or have sent the wrong item. Refunds will not be given if you haven't read the description properly or have simply changed your mind. Having said this there are always exceptions and if you have concerns please email us let us know (ebay's feedback is not your first option of expressing any problems,- if you have already left feedback, then the sale is complete). We often can work something out,- ie an exchange or credit etc. In this case you are responsible for the return postage costs and any refund will be for the item only minus fees etc. Please note some descriptions say 'see photo for similar item'. In this case, the item received may be slightly different to the one pictured as no two items are the same (as with any natural material). If you are concerned about this, then bid on another of our auctions that picture an 'actual item', or email us for more photos etc. All measurements are in cm. Sometimes two sets of numbers are visible on the ruler in the photos.... in this case the measurement is cm on the top and inches on the bottom (or if the ruler is on the right of the item,- cm on the left and inches on the right). Please contact us if you are unsure of the measurements or size of item before bidding.

We leave feedback when the transaction is over. We don't leave feedback every day, usually in bulk once a fortnight. Please don't remind us to leave feedback, we won't forget! Non paying Bidders will be reported to ebay and appropriate feedback left.

All items are guaranteed authentic. We have sold to museums, universities, schools, collectors etc for many years and have never had any problems with authenticity. Please read item descriptions carefully as any additional information will be there. Low value items will just come with a name tag, but higher value items will come with a full description label (name, species (if applicable), location, age (if applicable) etc).

Payment

Payment must be received with 10 days (14 days  for overseas) unless prior arrangements have been made. You are welcome to combine wins, just keep us informed (Australian bidders can combine wins up to 24 hours and overseas bidders up to 7 days,- for longer requests please ask). We can allow up to 2 weeks to combine for previous customers, as long as we are kept up to date.

No COD or Paypal payments. Please do not ask for paypal as we DO NOT accept it.

Direct deposit is recommended for Australian bidders. This is fast, cheap and easy for you. You can do it via internet banking, or just go into a westpac branch and make the deposit. We supply you with our account name and number. Please put relevant information in the 'description' for the deposit. ie your name, ebay ID or item # is fine ....  don't just write 'ebay auction winner'! We get hundreds of deposits a week, and if we can't identify your payment straight away then there will be a delay in processing your order. If depositing in a branch you can usually put a 'code number' in (they don't usually allow words),- in this case use the last digits of the item number and email us to let us know. Allow 2 to 5 days for the deposit to show up in our account. we post items as soon as the payment clears. If you use westpac too, it usually shows up the next day, but some other banks take a lot longer.  Direct deposit is not recommended for overseas buyers as it can be quite expensive (about $US30 in the USA).

For overseas buyers, credit card payment is the quickest and easiest. We charge your card the actual $AU amount and your bank does the conversion to $US or whatever your local currency is for you. Our biller name 'Unlimited Exotica' will appear on your card statement. In these days of increasing credit card fraud, we will only accept credit cards from certain countries. Also, we will only ship to the credit card holder's address,- please do not ask us to ship to an alternate address without further documentation. If you are in doubt that we will accept credit card payment from you, please email us before bidding with you details (country etc). Most countries are fine, but some countries we will request a copy (scanned and emailed or photocopied and posted) of photo ID with address (usually drivers licence) as well as the credit card. We have been notified by our bank to do this. We will accept most credit card payment via our submit form, but again there are some circumstances where we will require you print out the form, fill it in and sign it and then mail it to us. Please contact us if you have any questions.

If you haven't received our 'winner bidder email' notification within 24 hours of the end of the auction,- then please use our payment submit form (this is just a 'back up' in case you are unable to receive our emails due to your 'spam settings' blocking our emails or your ebay email address is not current etc). Or if international buyers are wanting to pay by credit card then use our secure order form. You can also use the 'request user information' on ebay to get our phone details to contact us, or contact us by mail at PO Box 490, Morphett Vale  5162. The onus is on you to contact us and pay for items if you are having email problems.

Shipping

Items are posted as soon as payment is received,- usually the next business day, but sometimes even the same day. Australia post usually takes 2 to 3 days to major towns and cities throughout Australia, but up to 5 days for country areas. Overseas mail usually takes 10 to 14 days.

Please note that while we are not responsible for missing/damaged items in the post, we will make every effort to rectify any problems that arise. Therefore using registered post for Australia (or insured post for overseas) is recommended as this will make it a lot easier.
