Near where I live ...

Hi there and welcome to my About Me page. I first started using eBay in January 2008. I had a lovely, brand new Country Road jacket which had been hanging in my wardrobe for almost a year. I loved the jacket on the hanger, but whenever I tried it on, I just didn't like the way it hung on me. It had been a popular item when I first bought it, so I felt that there must be someone out there who might want it. I'd never used eBay before and I didn't even have a digital camera at that stage, so I needed a bit of help to get that first listing up and running. Well, there was a lot of interest in that jacket and I was really happy to get a fair price for it, and subsequently, positive feedback. I started thinking about all the other items I had that I no longer wanted... So over the next few months I started going through everything and listing the items that I thought other people might like. At the same time, I started to go out and 'treasure hunt' for things that might be of interest. I'll never list anything that's not in good condition or worthy of selling. And I'm not out to make a killing. Of course, I'd like to get a fair price for the items I list, but I also want buyers to get a great deal and to be happy with their purchases. To date, my experience as a seller on eBay has been incredibly positive and that's exactly what I aim to pass on to my buyers.

• It's my policy to always leave feedback first, as soon as I have received cleared payment.
• I will happily combine postage.
• I am particularly scrupulous about postage charges and I will never charge more than what it actually costs me to get your parcel safely to you, indeed, I often charge less. If the postage cost quoted in my listing includes an amount to cover a mailing box or packaging materials, this will be explicitly stated.
• I am extremely careful with wrapping and packaging sold items to ensure that they arrive in the same condition as they were listed.
• I always aim to post my sold items on the same day that payment has been confirmed or cheque/money order cleared if that's humanly possible.
• Communication is very important to me, so at the end of an auction you'll always get a personalised invoice and I'll always confirm that I've received your payment and let you know when your parcel will be posted.
• I want you to be happy with all aspects of our transaction, so please do contact me with any questions or concerns.
